This is the online version of the highly popular and well received ECG course for nurses.
The course commences with a discussion of the basic physiology of ECG interpretation, anatomy of the ECG and instructions on lead placement. This will be via a web-based presentation with optional audio and quizzes interspersed.
The course will then proceed to a discussion of the stepwise interpretation of an ECG using a 8 step approach to interpretation. This will be discussed to allow broad interpretation of the ECG to allow the nurse to interpret how urgently they may need help for this patient.
A series of practice ECGs will be provided in quiz format. As a course participant, you will work stepwise through the 8 step approach and will be provided with answers to allow interpretation.
